Petit Jean Mountain, Arkansas

Interstate 40 between Little Rock and Conway was a total mess of patched potholes! The ride was so rough that that one of our fur babies (Abby) was traumatized and I had to hold her. It's taken a while for her to settle down. Hopefully, she will get more accustomed to bad roads.

It's beautiful here on Petit Jean Mountain (pronounced Petty Jean)! We got here yesterday and are thoroughly enjoying every minute! An old friend of Gary's lives in a town nearby and he drove up to visit for a while this afternoon. The Petit Jean State Park campground is very nice - spacious and well-kept, with full hook-ups - we would highly recommend it.

We will leave on Wednesday morning headed for the town I was born in, Stroud, Oklahoma. I'm excited to see family and friends there that I haven't seen in many years.

Thanks for your prayers for safety.

Vicki
